An analysis of hundreds of images, maps and videos of Canada shows which of Canadas natural wonders are the most impressive.
A survey of more than 20,000 photos and videos from across the country shows a wide variety of natural wonders that have attracted thousands of visitors and generated millions of dollars in tourism revenue.
The survey shows that the Niagara Falls, the Grand Canyon, and the Mount Royal National Park are all among the top five attractions in Canada, followed by the B.C. mountains and the Red Deer River, said Dan McComas, president and CEO of Destination Canadian.
“These parks are so iconic, but there are so many other beautiful, stunning and spectacular natural wonders, and it’s just really exciting to see how many people can experience them,” he said.
“We’ve also seen a significant increase in the number of tourists who have come to visit the country and see how much of Canada is still open to the public, said McComas.”
This is an opportunity for people to see and be part of these incredible landscapes that have been such a part of Canadian life for hundreds of years.
“McComas said many people who have been visiting the Canadian provinces have been surprised by how well they’ve been able to visit and experience the places they’ve come from.”
In fact, we’ve been getting quite a few questions from Canadians asking about their visits, and they say that they’re very proud of the way they’ve experienced Canada.
They say, ‘I’ve been here before, and I’ve been to all the great places, but I haven’t been to a place like this,'” said McComa.
The survey also found that Canadians are excited to be out and about in Canada.”
It’s really exciting, and there are definitely people who want to see the country more.
I think it’s a good way to show off your heritage and your heritage heritage is really beautiful,” said McCosas.
